THOUSANDS HOMELESS.
(By Telegraph-Press Assn.-Copyright) NEW YORK, Sept. 6. A fire at Hot Springs, Arkansas, destroyed thirty business blocks in eluding most of the public buildings. The fire started in some negroes' dwellings and spread with tremendous rapidity. There were many narrow escapes, people rushing wildly from their homes. Thousands are homeless. The damage is estimated at £1,000,000.
