CHRISTIAN ENDEAVOUR CONVENTION IN AUSTRALIA.

The World's Christian Endeavour Union has accepted the invitation of Australia to hold the next world convention there. This has been good news for Endeavourers in our part of the globe, for the "C.E," has been in need of just such stimulus as the Convention is calculated to give.

The following letters were printed in a recent number of the movement's, official organ, the Christian Endeavour World, published in Boston. They are respectively from the President of Australian "Endeavour" and the founder of the movement. Dr F. H. Clark: —

Sydney, Australia. Dear Fellow Endeavourers, —

The World's Christian Endeavour Union having accepted the Australasian invitation to hold the fifth World's Convention in Australia, the committee, with earnest prayer and -a deep sense of the honour, accepts the responsibility, and relies wholly upon your prayer that the guidance and power of the Holy Spirit may be given.

The city of Sydney will be the centre, a city beautiful for situation; and the sessions will be held from March 9 to 19, 1914, while visits will be made to Brisbane, Melbourne, and Adelaide, all splendid cities of the great Commonwealth.

On behalf and in the name of all i Australasian Endeavourers, I extend j to all fellow Endeavourers the world around a most brotherly and cordial invitation. This may seem to be an early invitation; it is so, because it goes out from warm hearts promising a happy inspiration to those who come to the sunny land. Hospitality will be given to all Endeavourers from over the seas, who will have first claim during the Convention days. Come, with your warm and glowing enthusiasm, and let us "have fellowship, one with another," for "truly our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ." Wu invite you and request your presence and prayers for the success of our conferences, that the kingdom of our Lord may be extended in many hearts and lives "for Christ and the Church" in all the wide world. With brotherly greetings and every good wish, Sincerely yours, John B. Spencer. President of Australasian Christian Endeavour Union. Boston, Mass. Dear Fellow Endeavourers in All Lands,— Most heartily do I endorse Mr Spencer's invitation to attend the fifth World's Convention in Sydney, Australia, in 1914. T have, been to Australasia on two different Christian Endeavour journeys, and can assure every one, that nowhere in the world are there more devoted and enthusiastic Endeavourers, a more interesting nation, or more cordial and generous hosts than they will find in the great lands that lie beneath the Southern Cross. It will give to those who take the journey an opportunity not only to see the Island Continent of Australia, but the wonderfully lbe«iutiful islands of New Zealand, and the wonderful lands of South Africa, if they continue their journey round the
