WEST'S PICTURES.
A good house witnessed the change of programme at the Lyceum Cinema last night. Among the dramas "The Mayor's Crusade" (a Kalem industrial drama) was especially appealing. "In a Bear's Claws," a fine hunting drama by the Selig Co., created much Interest. "The "Blacksmith" is a fine drama, the fire scene in the second half being very realistic. The rest of the programme was made up of sterling comedies. Especial mention of "Persistency" can be made, featuring Maurice Costello and Miss Florence Turner. The programme will be repeated to-night and to-morrow night. On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday next "Skipper Francis" will lecture during the exhibition of his famous swimming picture.
