THREE AVIATORS HURT

A FLYING MOTOR CAR

LONDON, Aug. 31

Three well-known aviators —Debussy, De Havilland .and Crouch— while flying on a biplane, fell slift. near Maidenhead.

The machine turned a somersault, and Debuccy was seriously hurt. The other two sustained fractured limbs. Grahame White has built a new bi-plane, with a spread of wing of 75ft. It seats four passengers, and resembles a motor car. The machine was successfully tested yesterday. King Wong, a Chinese student at the London University, who previviously studied in Australia, has invented a new type of biplane, and is returning to China. He proposes to construct a bamboo plane, and hopes to outstrip all European aviators.
