HABEAS CORPUS PROCEEDINGS.

OTTAWA, Aug. 27

Judge Globensky (ruled out the New York State Attorney's representatives when Thaw's motion to drop the habeas corpus proceedings was mentioned. Hundreds of spectators in the court, chiefly American, cheered British justice and the British flag.

Thaw bowed theatrically three times. The United States Attorneys refused to make a statement, but declared that such an outburst might have been suppressed in any court.
