THE SCOTT FUND.
LECTURE BY DR. JEAN CHARCOT
PARIS, March 16
Before an audience of five thousand, including many English and American visitors, Dr. Charcot, the well-known Antarctic explorer, lectured for two hours at the Trocadero on behalf of the Scott fund. He paid a thrilling tribute to the lost explorers. The lecture was illustrated by cinematograph films. When the British naval ensign was thrown on the screen the audience warmly applauded. _ , The band played Nearer my God to Thee," all the audience standing.
