BOROUGH COUNCIL
SPECIAL MEETING
A special meeting of the Borough Council was held in -the Council Chambers last night. In the absence of the Mayor, Cr J. S. Dent was appointed to the chair. There were also present.—Crs J. B. Mann, R. Harrison, L. T. Pickmere, J. E. Holmes, and J. Jackson. It was resolved that the abattoir by-laws, with alterations as suggested by the Department of Agriculture, be adopted. Crs Jackson, Harrison, and Dent were appointed a special committee to undertake the purging of the District Electors' Roll.
