At the trial at Los Angeles of Clarence Darrow, attorney representing the MacNamaras dynamitards, on v a charge of attempting to bribe the jurymen, the evidence disclosed was in. favor of the State's contention that the funds for the alleged bribery were supplied by Gompers, president of the American Federation of Labor.
