'' The Prime Minister informed a "Star" representative that the Chairmanship of Committees wouli be offered to Mr Davey.
As to the Legislative Council leadership, no one had been appointed so far. The position had been offered to one of the Dunedin members of that Chamber, but he had not seen his way to accept it.
