OVERHEARD AT THE CORNER. One cannot help overhearing snatches of conversation Some of them are humorous—some full of troubles. The following conversation tcok place between two women in the :street a few days ago, and will interest many:— "Often in the dead of night I would lay awake coughing—simply coughing. Almost every night for weeks I was kept awake. My good old home methods failed to cure me, and' I couldn't think what to do." "Did you try Baxter's Lung Preserver " asked.the other woman.
