WAR LEVIES REMITTED.
(Received June 5, 8.37 a.m.)
FEZ, June 4. The rebels have been totally dispersed. They lost 600 killed. The Sultan has decided to leave the city for four or five days, escorted by two battalions.
Owing to the friendliness of the inhabitants, Genoral Lyantey, the French Resident-General of Morocco, has remitted the war contributions levied on Fez. His action has given intense satisfaction.
