Cambridge University, with five wickets down for $7 overnight, were < all out for 130. Knight made 66, Saville 5, Calthorpe 4, C. Mulholland 6, Holloway (not out) 5, Arnold 10; sundries 9. At 3 p.m. rain caused the drawing of stumps, and South Africa had then lost six wickets for 150. Hartigan scored 38, Taylor 36, Snooke 5, Nourse 6, Faulkner 6, Tancred (in) 41, Schwarz 11, Strieker (in) 5.
