LUMPERS IN ACCORD.
AGREEMENT BROKEN.
SYDNEY, Feb. 16
The coal lumpers refused c o work the steamer Cornwall from 3risbane. The captain ordered the firemen and seamen to unload the bunker coal, but they declined and the captain logged them.
The Sydney lumpers are str'kiii;? in sympathy with Brisbane. T n consequence of the wharf laborers thus ignoring the agreement recently made with the shipowners, the latter have notified the Waterside Workers' Federation that the agreement has terminated.
