FUNERALS, NOT MARRIAGE.
INFATUATED CIVIL SERVANT,
MENTALLY UNSOUND.

SYDNEY, Feb. 15
Michele Blunno, head of the Viticultural branch 01 the Agricultural Department, was charged with threaten-
ing to kill Arcnibald Windeyer, a wellknown squatt.!.-, and other persons.
The* evidence showed that Blunno •v.-as infatuated with Windeyers sister, and when informed that the latter was engaged he wrote saying that there would be no marriage, but funerals.
The jury found Blunno not guilty, adding that he was suffering from temporary mental derangement at the time the letter was written.
He was ordered to be detained in Ihe Reception House at the-Governor's pleasure.
