TRENTHAM RIFLE MEETING.
FEWEit COMPETITORS,
WELLINGTON, Feb. 16
This year'a Championship Rifle meeting at Trenthani will not be so largely attended as in the past. From present indications it does not appear that.there will be more than 300 competitors in attendance. The falling off is attritbuted to the reorganisation of the defence forces thinning out the ranks of the marksmen. Hundreds of men who were in the Volunteers have had to give up soldiering to make way for recruits.
