GISBORNE, Feb. 16. The Whangarei Municipal Band has gained in music for the shield. The Band is now one point leading for the shield, and only 1 2-5 point behind for the cash prize. The Test Selection to-night will be the deciding issue, and Whangarei is practically certain to get at least second • Waihi is leading for the A Grade shield. Additional results yesterday were follows: — Quickstep.—A Grade: Palmerston North (251) 1, Waihi (240%) 2, Westport (226 1 /4) :'.. B.
