ANNUAL COMPETITION RESULTS.
Mr F. Higginson, headmaster of the Hora Hora School, furnishes the following list of prize-takers in the school children's gardens Competition for the present year:— Vegetable Gardens, for children over 12.—Tom Mcßeth 1, C. Harington and C. Courtney 2
Vegetable Gardens, for children under 12.—Alex. Clark-Walker 1, A. Carmichael, F. North, and'A. Mcßeth 2, N. Pearson, R. Kernohan, and A. Fricker 3.
Flower Gardens, for children over 12. —Hazel Carmichael 1, J. Carmichael 2.
Flower Gardens, for children under 12.—Olga Pickmere 1, Allan Marshall 2, Stella Pickmere and Lenna Hardie 3.

There were good entries, and most of the gardens were well kept.
