PICKED UP AT SEA
MAN MISSING
CHRISTCHURCH, June 9
The captain of the Wairau on Sunday picked up off Kaiapoi a brown punt, number 98. This belonged to the missing man East, of Kaiapoi who was last seen on Friday.
It is believed that East, when proceeding to the fishing station, fell r.ileep in the boat, and was carried out to sea.
