SPIRACY,
(Received May 3, 11.17 a.m.)
LONDON, May 2.
After some evidence had been given in the Houndsditeh murder trial, Judge iGrantham advised the Crown to withdraw the charge of being accessories after the fact against Peters, Dubof, and Vassileva, the judge remarking that the Crown must show that, any accessories knew that a murder had been committed. He added that it was doubtful whether it could be proved that the prisoners were escaping from justice.
Mr Bodkin, counsel for the Crown, acquiesced.
The trial of the accused for conspiracy to enter the shop is being proceeded with.
