PHEASANT SHOOTING.
PROPERTY OWNERS WARNED,
The officers of the Whangarei Acclimatisation Society desire to .warn property owners to be on the lookout: for persons trespassing on their properties and shooting pheasants with the sole object of trading the game to liotclkeepers in Auckland. They desire landholders to give genuine Kportsmen facilities to shoot; but to at once report to the Society or the ranger any persons of whom they have suspicions that they are shootir.g game fur trade purposes. They also ask. them to demand licenses from all sportsmen and to report to the ranger the nama of any person shooting game without a license issued by the Whangarei Society, as licenses issued in other districts are not valid here.
