AT BLENHEIM AND AUCKLAND.

DWELLING-HOUSES DEMOLISHED.

WELLINGTON, Dec. 19

The police received word yesterday that a six-roomed house at Blenheim, owned by Joseph Woster, was destroyed by fire late on Saturday night. The insurances, in the London and Globe office, are £160 on House and £235 on the furniture. AUCKLAND, Dec. 19. A six-roomed house in Eden-street, owned by H. D. Abbott and occupied by Mrs Robert Riley, was destroyed by fire on Saturday night. The furniture, which was also destroyed, was valued at £400, which is covered by a policy in the Victoria office.
