DALGETY'S WOOL REPOr!t. The Auckland Farmers' Union, Limited, through their agents, Messrs Dalgety and Company, Limited Auckland, received the following cab'e from their London Office, under date 6th inst: — Wool Sales:—Sales closed firm and active, with brisk competition, as compared with closing rates of last series, Merino wools of good quality and condition, market prices unchanged; Merino wools of other descriptions, ? per cent, lower; Merino wools, heavy, earthy, and wasty, sometimes more; crossbred greasy wools, unchanged; crossbred scoured, 5 per cent, higher; slipe crossbre.l wools, 5 per cent, higher. Total net quantity available amounted to 120,000 bales. Sold for Home consumption, 52,000 bales; sold to the Continent, 60,000 bales; carried forward, 8,000 bales; not offered, 3,000 bales.
