WELLINGTON DOCK.
CONTRACTORS RELEASED.
WELLINGTON, Sept. 21
The Harbor Board yesterday released the contractors and their sureties of the Wellington dock contract.
John McLean and Son, the contractors, in a letter to- the Board, stated they were satisfied that the dock could not be constructed in the manner specified in the existing, specifications.
The contract was for, £196,210, and was let in 1907. Some £33,000 of the amount has so far been expended.
