(By Telegraph.) Auckland, June 24. At Westfield the yarding of beef numbered 388. Competition was not so keen as in the previous week, and on the whole prices were easier. Ox beef made £1 is to £.1 4s, and cow and heifers 19s to £1 is per ioolb. Steers brought £6 2s 6d to £ix 17s 6; cows, £3 16s to 2s 6d Sixty-three veal were penned, but they were insufficient for requirements, and values ruled high. Extra heavy sold to £3 17s 6d; heavy, £2 5s to £2 18s; medium, well done sorts, £ 1 8d to £1 18s ; small, 12s to 18s; fresh dropped, 3s to gs.

The sheep pens were well rilled with a good class mutton, which sold steadily throughout at about last week's quotations. Prime heavy wethers realised £1 3s to £1 5s 6d; medium weights, igs to £x is 6d; light, 16 to 18s 6d; best heavy ewes, 19s to £1 os 6d; others, 16s 3d to 18s; aged and lighter, us 6d to 14s 6d (2155 sold). Less than the usual number of lambs were penned, and prices were firmer; Best made 13s gd to 14s gd; ordinary sorts, us 6d to 13s 3d; light and unfinished to 10s (383 sold.)
