STOCK SALES.
By Telegraph. Auckland, September 21. '■ 'At Remuera, on Thursday, stock of all classes were well represented. Dairy, cows sold at £3 to JB7 15s ; dry, £2 to £4. Fat calves (in full supply) kept recent values. Small, 10s ; medium, 20s ; heavy, 38s (98 sold). The beef pens were well filled with cattle, which sold slightly below late quotations. Steers, £6 to £12 7s ; cows, £4 to £8 10s. 287 sold. Sheep (in average numbers) sold freely. Heavy wethers, 25s to 28s 9d ; lighter, 21s to 24s ; heavy ewes, 23s to 28s ; others, 21s ,(.1230 sold). Hoggets made 22s (100 sold). Spring lambs made 11s 9d to 22s 6d (63 sold). Pigs were short of requirements. Porkers, 355 ; baconers, 555 ; small, 11s 6d to 16s (50 sold). PRODUCE.
