LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL.
Press Association. Wellington, September 11. The Council met at 2.30 p.m. The Motor Regulations Bill was read a first time. Sir Maurice O'Rorke gave notice of a return to the provincial system of government and the alteration of the ! system of Council appointments. The Habitual Criminals Bill was read a second time. The Horowhenua Block and the payment of Jurors Bills were read a third time. The Council rose at 4.10 p.m.
