THE MIDDLESEX MATCH. AUSTRALIANS WIN BY SIX WICKETS. Press Association. — Copyright. London, August 26. Middlesex had lost 5 wickets for 122 when stumps were drawn for the day. The chief scorers were Beldhatn, not out, 64, Warner 25. LONDON, August 27. The match was resumed in fine weather and a good wicket. In their second innings Middlesex scored 203, or one less than at their first essay. Beldham carried his total up to 75 before he was bowled ; Bosanquet was out leg before for 25, and MacGregor was bowled for 20. Trumble was the most successful bowler, taking four wickets for 48. Requiring 176 to win the Australians knocked them up for the loss of only four wickets, thus winning by six wickets. The chief scores were ; Noble (not out) 59, Armstrong 47. Wells took three of the wickets.
