A TERRIBLE DISASTER. FIFTY SOLDIERS DROWNED. Press Association.— Copyright. St. Petersburg, August 24. In spite of official secrecy it has tranßpired that a terrible catastrophe occurred to a squadron of Russian cavalry during recent manoeuvres near St. Petersburg. A squadron received aiders to plunge into a river. The cavalry obeyed the order, and as a result fifty men were drowned.
