CEICKET ASSOCIATION.
■ ■ ♦ A mebtihg of the delegates of the Associated Clubs of the Whangarei County Cricket Association was held on Saturday, 22nd inst. Present — Messrs. SteadmanandLupton(Whangarei CO.), A. Clark and H. Clark, (Ramblers), Martin and Mclnnis, (Kamo C.C.), Street and McLeod (Purua C.C.), McLean (Opuawhanga C.C.), Swaffield and O'Carroll, (Maungakaramea CO.). Mr. A. H. Mason, President of the Association, was in the chair. The following resolutions were agreed to : — That the clubs represented support the Association, and (until a suitable pitch can be secured by the Association) arrange a place of meeting for themselves for their matches ; in the event of a disagreement, the President of the Association to decide the place of meeting. That the Association provide a trophy for the premier club of the season, the name and date to be inscribed on the trophy. That the subscription for senior clubs be £1, and for junior clube 10/-. That junior teams be allowed 13 a side to play against senior teams, subject to submitting the names of the team to the Association. lhat each club nominates three men as umpires to be approved by the Association. The President, Secretary, and Treasurer were appointed a committee to approve tie names. That duplicate score sheets, etc., of matches be sent to the Secretary of the Association and signed by the captains and scorers of each team. Programme for first round: —Nov. 3rd., Whangarei XI v Whangarei XV at Whangarei; Nov. sth., Purua v Maungakaramea, at Whangarei; Nov. sth., . Kamo v. Opuawhanga, at Kamo ; Nov. 19th. Purua v Whangarei XV at Kamo, ; Nov. 24th., Whangarei XI v. Maungakaramea, at Maungakaramea ; Nov. 24th., Whangarei XV v Kamo, at Kamo ; Nov. 26th. Purua v Opuawhanga, at Kamo; Dec. Ist., Whangarei XV v Maungakaramea, at Maungakaramea ; Dec. Ist., Purua v Whangarei XI, at Whangarei; Dec. Bth., Opuawhanga v Whangarei XI, at Kamo ; Dec. loth., Kamo v Purua, at Kamo ; Dec. 17th., Opuawhanga v Maungakaramea, at Kamo; Dec. 22nd., Kamo v Whangarei XI, at Kamo ; Jan. 2nd., Kamo v Maungakaramea, at Maungakaramea; Jan. 2nd., Whangarei XV v Opuawhanga, at Kamo.
