KAMO IRON ORE.
In testing some of the Kamo iron ore, Mr Leslie Mcarthur found it to contain gold. The discovery is not a now ono, as the ore was found to contaiu the precious metal some time ago when the Pnhipuhi Caledonian excitement was on The hematite ore found on the Caledonian is very similar to the Kamo ore, and its similarity led to the testing of the. Kamo ore for gold. Further tests will be made to discover whether the Kamo hematite carries gold in paying quantities.
