WHAREORA.
r fFrom our own Correspondent.) I Last week revival services were conducted for i four evenings in the Church by the Rev. B. i Hutson, assisted by the Revs. J. H. Hawkes s and Thomas. The meetings were well at- ■ tended. We hope to have more such meetings, . as much good can be derived from them. l Mr J. It. Carter, who was our first school • teacher in the early days, has been amongst his . old pupils for a few days. On Tuesday he gave s a magic lantern exhibition in the school room ; to a full house, which was very instructive and : amusing. , The spring has fully set in, but there seems . to be little or no growth in the ground. Oats i and other crops are behind, and require warm rain.
