DEATH OF AN AEARONAUT.
London, August 28thi Mr J. H. Simmons, Aearonaut, ascended in a balloon, at the Irish Exhibition, now being held at the Olympia Circus, South Kensington. The upward journey was successfully accomplished, but in his descent the car collided with a tree, and Simmons was killed. Rome, August 28. The Italian fleet is assembling at Agosta, but it is explained, it is merely on a cruise. Berlin, August 28. The German Baltic Squadron is preparing to go to sea. London, August 28. It is reported that the Sultan of Morocco is wreaking bloody vengeance on the murderers of his son, Prince j Muley. He has pursued the insargents until they surrendered and besieged them. In consequence of the excitement the lives of foreigners are endangered. ■ London, August 28. The postal authorities have extended the contract with Oceanic Steamship Company for one year.
