STRANGE INFANTUATION AND SHOCKING DEATH.
Melbourne, August 21. This morning a man was observed walking along the railway line, near the south end of the platform, at Spencer- street. He was warned to clear off the line, or he might be run over. He called out in reply "lam the Son of God, no train can do me any harm." The six o'clock train came up a moment afterwards, and the man not taking the slightest notice of the shouts of the spectators was run over and killed instantly. He is supposed to be insane. The body is not yet identified.
