THE CHINESE QUESTION AGAIN.
In the House of Commons Sir Ge£ Campbell, member for Kirkcaddy, has given notice to ask whether Sir Henry Parkes admitted acting illegally in excluding Chinese from N.S.W. ; whether he statedthat the Government were determined to exclude Chinese, despite Imperial Government; whether Lord Carrington has assented to the Bill indemnifying the action of the Government ; and whether the Bill is in accordance with existing treaties between Great Britain and China.
