• (From our own Correspondent). These was a large attendance at the Kink al 1 the Kauri Hall on Wednesday night, and 1 a mO3t enjoyable evening was spent by all £ present. The feature of ibe evening was the elegant skating of Miss Linda White and Miss Alice Buchannan. Mr M. J. Whitelaw, 3 amongst the gentlemen, is becoming proficient. I The observers see most of the game, and it was „ the opinion of several present on that night, f that if the gentlemen endeavoured to skate I slowly at first instead of trying to rush along [ at a fearful speed some of them would soon be good skaters. p A dance followed from 10 till 11 p.m. which . was greatly enjoyed. ) :
