ACCIDENT.
A. VERY painful and serious accident occurred on Sunday afternoon last. It appears that Mr Wiggins was ridingalong the Maunu road, quite leisurely, when the horse shied, throwing his unfortunate rider to the ground. Dr Clarke was immediately summoned to his assistance and upon examination found that three of his ribs were broken and that he was also injured internally. We understand that Mr Wiggins is just now in a very precarious condition, having been unable to take sustenance in any form during the past four days.
