BROKEN HILL MINES.
Sydney, March 3. Since the declaration of the dividend of £16 in the Broken Hill Proprietary Silver shares there has been a sharp fall on the sharemarket. Sharas are now down, and are now quoted at from £375 to £380. There has been a corresponding decline all round in silver scrip. Melbourne, March 3. Dr. James, who invested £5000 in Broken Hill shares early in the speculation fever, has just sold out for £375,000.
