Auckland, Friday. GRAIN MARKET. Maize quotable at 4/5 to 5/4, for parcels on wharf; oats, 1/1 1 to 2/2 for feed, seed (taratarian), 2/3 ; milling wheat (old seasons), 3/6; fowl wheat, 3/ ; potatoes, £2 per ton. KAURI GUM MARKET. Kauri gum market continues without animation, prices unsettled and apparently declining. Supplies for seven days of March about 165 tons. W« quote : — Poor ordinary (nominal), 30>/ ; fair ordinary, 34/ to 35/ ; best ordinary, 36/ to 37/ ; and East Coast not demanded, 47/ to 51/. FLOUR. "Roller, per ton £11 15/ ; superfine, £3.0 to £10 5/; household, £10 to £110 10/; Southern, £9 10/ to £10 10/. GARDEN AND ORCHARD PRODUCE. Apples per case, 4/6 to 5/6, per lb. fc to /I ; lemons per dozen, 1/6 to 1/9 ; grapes, 1/; plums, /2J to /2£. MR. AIRBED BUCKI.AND'S REPORT. At Remuera, on Thursday, dairy ci ittle sold freely at an advance over ltist week's market of 10/ each. Tliose near profit ranged from £5 10/ t< > £6. Fat cattle in full number, a Iso better worth fully 1/ per lOOlbs ; fi it steers, ranged from 13/ to 17/; cows, 10/ to 13/ the lOOlbs. Fat calves abundant, and fully kept last week's values. 600 two toothed ewes averaged 8/6; aged ewes, 6/; fat sheep advanced about 1/ each; wethers, brought from 7/6 to 13/9 or near /2 per lb ; ewes, 6/6 to 9/3; Lambs, 6/ to 8/. Pigs numerous and of varying quality, useful porkers fetched fully /3 per lb dead weight.
