Considering the dry weather, Bcacity of feed, and the faot that the 'sheep were mostly culls, they lold readily and well ; all the good whitefaced rams also sold, only several a£ed animals being passed. The Down rsms all sold but 5 ; but were not half so Tvell competed for, nor did they make half the money as the white faces. Aged and low conditioned ewes made from 3/0 to 6/6, wethers up to 8/, lambs up to 7/» White-faced rams up to 52/, 'Downs up to 24/.
