GLENTUNNEL LABOR PARTY
A meeting of the newly formed branch of the Labor Party at Glentunnel was held on Tuesday evening, 13th April, the chair being taken by Mr. J. Todd. Great interest in the movement was evinced by the members present, and the names of Mrs. G. Wills and Mrs. McLaughlan were added to the committee, in Order that women might be xepreseuted thereon. An address on the first tyank of the Labor platform was given by Mr. A. L. Wills, which was afterwards discussed by members. Plans for educational and social evenings during the ensuing winter were suggested and discussed. Arrangements for a lantern lecture on Russia and scenes of the recent Revolution, byM-r. N. M. Bell, were talked over, and pleasurable anticipation was evinced. In response to a desire for literature .on Russia and other subjects of Labor interest, the president and secretary were appointed a com-: mittee to obtain a supply for the members. The secretary was also instructed to obtain several copies of The Worker weekly for some of those present.
