I w;as in hopes to be able to close it altogether and issue a balance sheet. But we find thero are three women and three children still on the Fund and they write to say their husbands will not, be out until next April unless they get allowed some time off. That b«ii>g so we want .at' least £5 a week- It sounds pretty small to ask fifty l-tou_aiul people to contribute -U5 per week, but wo want it and we want it until next April. No on© will rejoice more than I when this fund is finally closed. Three thousand six hundred pcunds have passed through my hands for th- Seditious Prisoners and CO Fund. Hundreds of letters have had to be answered and altogether it has kept us busy. All this money ha* come in iv -mail lots. Jt all had to be acknowledged. We are glad to have been able to render _ervice, but will be mighty glad when the last man is released. Until next April then, please don't forget our women and three children.—E. J. HOWARD, Secretary.
