Australian Federation Constitution
After waiting indefinitely for the arrival of an official copy of the constitution adopted by the big gathering in Sydney last May, the Federation Secretary has been compelled to issue tho report of conference proceedings taken from tho "Australian Worker" to unions which have signified their intention of attending.
Apparently in tho hustle and excitement of recent dramatic happenings in Australia, tho dispatching of tho information asked for has been overlooked. Because of awaiting a reply from the Other Side, the delay has arisen. However, under the circumstances it cannot be helped. This note has been written because of complaints that have readied this office owing to the non-arrival of the promised constitution. Some seem to see in the delay a deep amd dark design, and threaten oil sorts of explosions in - the near future. Will these warlike souls kindly accept this intimation and bury the uplifted tomahawk feet deep beneath the arbitration awards in the secretarial drawer ?
