AUCKLAND LABORERS.

The Auckland General Laborers' Union, which boasts a membership of over a thousand, and which recently cancelled its regista-ation under the Arbitration Act and joined the Federation of Labor, has issued a schedule of demands.. Considerable improvement is asked in the matters of hours of work and wages, and absolute preference to unionists is demanded. The demands will- probably be considered in conference ,at an early date.
