MR. HINDMARSH
Alfred H. Hmdmarsh, Labor candidate, who defeated Mr. R. A. Wright for Wellington South, is a solicitor and a member of the Municipal Association of New Zealand. He is alsw a-.member of the Hospital and Chanfcaible Aid Board. In 1905 he was elected to the Wellington City Council in the interest of Labor. Mr. Hmdmarsh is a native of Adelaide, and a son of the'late Mr. 3. Hmdmarsh, who settle*, in Napier in 1878- The new member is a grandson of the late Rear-Admirag Sir John liindinarsh, first Governor of South Australia-
