ORGANISER MEE'S REPORT.

It has been horrible weather since my last report, and I could not do much. I have been chiefly among the cookies., and they did not give mc much of a, hearing, and everyone of the fellows -who were shearing for them were men with if arms.; also, of course, you have not- got much to show a cocky what the union has done for him, because h<? always got a pound and in a lot of places 22s 6d about here. Now they are -paying 22s 6d in most cases, axid the award is only 19s 6d, so you see you have not got much of an argument for what" the union has done in regard to rising the price. The only argument I have is that if the court had not risen the price in the south all the shearers would ;have been up here and soon cub the price down. It is wonderful the interest they took in the election. Every toiler seemed to want a change. They seemed to thing that if we got Ward out the quicker we would be able to get the Opposition . out, as they would start operating on behalf of the big fat man, and then th-e toiler would know what to dd), but so long as you had Joe in kidding to them you could do nothing. Yes, if they keep selling cookies the land and "bursting r.p big places they ay ill be all small pla-txs, and it is good- . byo to the Shearer^ , Union. The cookies think il: at shearing will be done by the day soon when they all become small places, as the cockies' own oiien will be abk to do the shearing. I have had some good hearings m pubs, and boarding-Louses. Socialism soon makes them all prick up their ears and take an interest in the argument,
