MEN’S TOURNAMENT The men’s tourney was played on Friday, 2Gth and Saturday 27th. Excellent weather prevailed and with the links in fine order, play proved very enjoyable for all those taking part. A record number of entries was received 89 men taking part and representing the following clubs: —Port Chalmers, Hororata, Otago, St. Clair, Ranfurly, Clyde, Alexandra, 'Horiot, Dunrobin, Milton, Lawrence, Mokoia, Queens Park, Otatara, Roxburgh, Gore and Luimsden. The St. Clair club was exceptionally well represented—--21 members being present. The best gross score for the tourney went to Mir Arthur Lawrence, of St. Clair, who handed in a 70 in the second round of the Men’s Championship.
