Many and varied are the names given tio* domestic pels but one such name of which we have heard lately seems to “take the cake.” In this instance the pet w as a cat which after christening was expected to ansawer to the name of “Trousers.” But this is net all. In the fullness of time there came thirteen kittens and, as if in rivalry of the parent name, a wag in playful mood affixed to them the name of—“ the little underpants.”
