CONDEMNED BY A COACH. “Frankenstein Monster." Port of Spain (Trinidad), March 12. A. J. Richardson, who is now coaching here, writing in the Sunday Guardian, slashingly attacks bodyline bowling, which he describes as deliberate bowling at the batsman's head and invented by the Englishman to defeat Bradman, He appjealed to West Indies cricket players to prohibit this “Frankenstein monster," expressing the opinion that its continued use would mean ruin for Empire cricketing friendship.
