Potatoes.—Consignments" have been coming forward freely and sales can only be effected at a reduction on late rates. Chaff.—The quantity coming forward of late has been equal to the demand which is purely a local one. Bright heavy oaten sheaf is in most favour with buyers, and all consignments of this description have been cleared on arrival at quotations. Medium and inferior lines are not so readily placed. We quote—Best oaten sheaf £6 5s to £8 10s ; medium to good £5 10s to £6 ; light and inferior from £5 10s per ton (sacks extra).
