Patrick Postponing His New Zealand Trip
Eeceived Thursday 8.30. p.m. SYDNEY, Nov. 29. The Australian light and welterweight title holder, Vic Patrick, has decided to postpone his trip to New Zealand until February or March. He has been promised a tight at the Sydney Stadium before Christmas and this has caused him to change his mind about going to New Zealand next month. Patrick had received a guarantee of £I4OO for two fights in Palmerston North.
Dicut.-Genera] Sir Archibald Edward Nye has been appointed Governor of Madras in succession to Sir Arthur Hope, whose extended term expires on March 12, 1946.
